The Project
Colin and Tillie, from Sonic, came to us to redesign the existing basic website we built back in 2014. The brief was to modernise the website and make it easier to update with projects, but also integrate Instagram as an easy way to add new images without even having to log into the website.
Our Solution
We went through 3 design iterations for this build. The client wanted to retain some of the features of the original website, such as the circular dots on the homepage, but wanted more modern feel. We replaced the dated “slideshow” and added a nice ‘hero’ image on the landing page of Stonehenge, signifying the importance of Sonic being a Salisbury based business. Once a design was agreed on, we put together the rest of the site and integrated the Instagram feed on the foot of the homepage to add in a nice feature of displaying the very latest images, whether they have been added to the Projects page or not.
Once the site was completed, a few simple training sessions for the Sonic staff means they are able to upload new projects with ease.
